[1] Current law requires that the state flag be pennant shaped with three red and two white horizontal stripes. The union of the flag must be 17 five-pointed stars, white in a blue triangular field, the base of which must be the staff end or vertical edge of the flag and the apex of which must be the center of the middle red stripe. The stars must be grouped around a red disc superimposed upon a white circular "O." (R.C. 5.01--not in the bill.)
